Course

The run is a marked 5k route through undulating woodland on a mix of compact, sandy and muddy tracks.

The 5.5km mountain bike course is a mix of endurance and technical, so something for everyone. Experienced and newby riders will have to think fast about the best line to pick through the technical bits, which will consist of bermed single tracks, tree roots and a couple of switch backs. The more open trails will provide opportunities for faster riders to get some speed up and overtake.

Don't forget

It is your responsibility to ensure your mtb is mechanically sound and race ready. If you run out of time or have forgotten to fix those brakes, Cycle Surgery, the official bike retail sponsor will be providing free pre race bike servicing. Please arrive early on race day to allow enough time to take advantage of this.

The run course is all off road so trail running shoes or spikes will give you the most advantage. But don't worry if you don't have these. Normal running shoes will be adequate.
